The Fighter Collection’s “The Battle Simulator” creates a synthetic environment of elements of modern air, land and sea warfare. This solution is a development of The Fighter Collection Simulation Engine (TFCSE) which is currently integrated into “serious game” air combat simulations and military applications such as the A-10C Desk Top Simulator (DTS) for the U.S. Air National Guard and AC-130U IR sensor operator training.
“The Battle Simulator” provides modules that operate on stand-alone or networked PC’s and offers military clients unprecedented levels of realism, portability, functionality, and cost effectiveness previously not available on commercial hardware. Training modules offered include:
Systems Training (e.g. cockpit procedures training in a synthetic environment)
Procedures and tactics
Mission planning and rehearsal (e.g. forward air control and forward observer - FACSE and Joint Fires modules)
"Proof of Concept" integrated UAV trainer for pilot and sensor workstations.

At I/ITSEC 2009 (http://www.iitsec.org/), The Fighter Collection will be demonstrating a version of "The Battle Simulator" focused on the A-10C. The A-10C simulation will be demonstrated on CH Product's new A-10C High Fidelity Hands On Throttle and Stick (HOTAS) system for Military Desktop Simulation applications.

Based on the A-10C DTS, the AC-130U DTS simulates the interface and functions of the Infra-Red (IR) Sensor Operator Station as part of the Battle Management Center of the AC-130U Gunship aircraft. The AC-130U DTS will include:
- AN/AAQ-26 Infra-Red Sensor System
- IR Sensor Operator Multi Function Display (MFD)
- IR Sensor interface and controller
- Virtual terrain, enemy Order of Battle, Buildings, and Infrastructure
- Automated flight plans and paths

The Fighter Collection Simulation Engine (TFCSE), developed for TFC by its associate company, Eagle Dynamics, is currently integrated into the commercial entertainment software pro-duct "Lock On: Modern Air Combat". "Lock On" is a high fidelity first-person perspective flight simulator that allows the player to operate one of several US or Russian jet fighter aircraft (A-10A Warthog, F-15C Eagle, Su-27 Flanker B, MiG-29 Fulcrum A, MiG-29 Fulcrum C, Su-25 Frogfoot, Su-25T, Su-33 Flanker D).
Lock On models a large portion of the Black Sea region, including the Crimean peninsula and the western Caucuses. The area is highly detailed and includes more than 180,000 buildings, 50,000,000 trees, 21 cities, 1,700 towns and villages, 500 bridges, 18 airfields and 8 naval bases.

ENVIRONMENT
- 4 seasons - reflecting changes in colour and foliage.
- Any time of day or night.
- Alterable weather conditions: cloud, fog, haze, rain, snow, temperature and wind.
TERRAIN
- Currently 100,000 sq. km in the Crimea and Caucasus region, offering a wide range of terrain types (sea level swamps to > 5000 m mountains) enabling a large variety of training environments.
- Terrain from any part of the world and to any level of detail can be developed in a short time frame.
- Ability for the user to add any type of objects to the terrain.
