The Fighter Collection announces the launch of
THE BATTLE SIMULATOR
for Military and Defence Markets

Duxford UK, September 9, 2005: “The Battle Simulator” a synthetic environment encompassing air, sea and land operations has been developed by the Fighter Collection. The system uses the Fighter Collection’s Simulation Engine (TFCSE) which is currently integrated into a mass-market air combat simulation “serious game”, and will provide modules running on stand-alone or networked PCs. Up to 8 users can be networked over the Internet or 32 on a LAN.

“The Battle Simulator” offers the Defence community an unprecedented level of realism, fidelity and functionality, previously not available on commercial PC hardware. The Log Tracking function, which records all entities, enables After Action Review to be conducted from any point within the environment.

Typical applications include:

• Training (For example the Forward Air Control Synthetic Environment – FACSE module, promoted in collaboration with HVR-CSL.)
• Development of Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
• Operational Analysis and performance
• Mission planning and rehearsal

The Fighter Collection will be demonstrating “The Battle Simulator” on the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium stand (369 UK Group) at the forthcoming DSEi Exhibition at the Excel Trade Centre, London, to be held on the 13th to 16th September 2005.
